St. Patrick's Day Clothes for March 17th and Beyond!
When March 17th rolls around, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Is it Christianity? How about the color blue? The name Maewyn? Or Great Britain? No… not for us, either. Here at TrendTee, when we see March 17th approaching, we break out the green and make sure to have a lot of Guinness on hand! We even decided to commemorate this yearly observance with a line of clothes that are sure to keep the leprechauns at bay! Yes, we are talking about our line of St. Patrick’s Day clothes! The patron saint of Ireland may have been born in Britain, but he was the one who brought Christianity to the Emerald Isle. Maewyn at birth, Patrick by choice, the holiday in his honor began in Ireland in the 17th Century as a religious "feast day". Hard to believe that the celebration started out dry… meaning no alcohol was served! That changed once it hit the shores of America. Irish immigrants wanted to honor their homeland and did so by letting the booze flow! Wearing green like the soldiers of their homeland, the color became synonymous with the holiday! Our St. Patrick’s Day clothing stays with this tradition while serving up a dose of holiday humor! Taking the lead from their American descendants, the Isle of Ireland now has forsaken their religious ceremony and lets the stout flow! Our St. Patty’s Day Clothes may not celebrate the true past of this patron saint, but are the perfect accompaniment to the holiday in his honor! Shout "Erin go Bragh," take a shot of whiskey, and revel in all things Irish while wear some sweet St. Patrick’s Day clothes!
